These Terms explain how TutorAfrika's services operate. By using our platform you agree to these Terms.
01. About TutorAfrika
TutorAfrika is an online language learning platform connecting learners with qualified tutors for live African language lessons.
02. Eligibility
Users must be 18+ to create an account. Learners under 18 must be registered by a parent or legal guardian.
03. Booking Lessons
Learners choose available lesson dates and times before payment. Bookings are confirmed once payment is received.
04. Lesson Packages
TutorAfrika may offer different lesson packages from time to time. Package details are shown before purchase.
05. Payments
All lessons must be paid for in advance through our approved payment provider.
06. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Lessons may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice, subject to tutor availability. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice are normally non-refundable.
07. Tutor Cancellations
If a tutor is unavailable, TutorAfrika may reschedule the lesson, provide a replacement tutor or issue a refund where appropriate.
08. Responsibilities
Learners must behave respectfully and ensure a suitable learning environment. Tutors must act professionally and comply with TutorAfrika standards.
09. Safeguarding
Tutors must not contact learners outside TutorAfrika without written permission. Lessons are not recorded unless everyone gives consent.
10. Liability
TutorAfrika is not responsible for interruptions beyond its reasonable control, including internet outages.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
